  • What users have to say about Marcy Impex Powder Coated Steel Home Gym Adjustable Weight Bench

It came with missing and damaged parts, but the company Impex/Marcy Fitness really stands behind their products, and I gave the product 4-stars because of that.

The bench pivot points are perfect for us, as we are short people.

I am 6' 190 lbs., and find this to be a decent reliable bench for any moderate weight workout, as it is easy to assemble and attachment/detachment of leg extension assembly.

This bench is very stable and I think you're not using it for the intended purpose if you do something that makes the bench unstable or wobbly.

If you're not mechanically inclined, you should use the "tool" provided, but be careful with the pads on the top of the leg extension.

    FAQ

    Q:

Is it possible to use standard weights with the leg extensions or just Olympic?

    A:

The bar is for standard weights and comes with a sleeve that converts it to an olympic.

    Q:

Is it possible to lay on your stomach and do leg curls with this bench?

    A:

The video shows a limited range of motion, but the dude is doing it wrong.

    Q:

It seems like the leg attachment part would get in the way of mounting the bench with DBs when I do heavy dumbbell presses.

    A:

I think part of the attachment would get in the way of your workout, and it would take some time to remove it once assembled.

    Q:

    What's the assembled dimensions?

    A:

It is 65 inches long and 17 inches wide.

    Q:

Does it have wheels that can be used to move it around?

    A:

Yes. It has a handle on the bottom of the front and two little wheels on the back.
