About Ninja Foodi AG301 5-in-1 Indoor Electric Grill
81% highlighted the presets, although 19% found them limiting
The appliance lets me know it's preheating after I set my custom specifications for cooking, including temperature and time needed for the food to be done.
The controls are easy to understand and use. Everything is touch control and the buttons have been responsive. Changing cook time and temperature is done through up/down controls, so there is no need to type in a string of numbers like on a microwave.
The unit is easy to operate, does not smoke, leaves lovely grill marks on the meat, and is easy to clean.
The air-fryer has a forced pre-heat cycle that takes 4-7 minutes, then I insert the food and close the lid before the timer starts. I also like the OP401 procedure where I can place food in the unit and walk away till it's done. The presets are not easy to operate and I have faced inconvenience while using it.
76% appreciated the design, however 24% found it unappealing
The air fryer is a good size and eliminates the need for a couple of other appliances, but takes up quite a bit of counter space.
The appliance requires a little counter space.
The air-fryer design requires some space to lift the top. It is important to have enough space to pull the machine forward to open the top completely.
The air-fryer requires a good amount of counter space and is bulkier than I expected.

79% found it noise-free, yet 21% reported noise issues
The air-fryer doesn't make more noise than a running microwave and it's not bothersome.
The fan motor is deafeningly loud. No one can be in the next two rooms while it's cooking.
During the preheating stage for roasting, the air-fryer made a loud sound multiple times and started vibrating and rattling.
Once I turned on the air-fryer, it started making a loud noise.

The smart temperature probe is excellent at controlling meat cooking. It can be used to control the cooking process or monitor the temperature.
I appreciate the temperature control feature of the air-fryer, including the temperature probe and outside display, which make it easy to set the temperature without wasting time. The controls are easy to use and understand, with up/down controls for changing cook time and temperature.
88% liked controls and functionalities
It is easy to switch out the cooking parts, such as removing the grill to insert the air fryer basket or roasting rack.
Operating and cleaning the unit is easy. It leaves lovely grill marks on the meat and does not smoke.
I found the touch-based controls of the air-fryer easy to operate. Changing cook time and temperature is done through up/down controls.
87% were satisfied with the basket size, but 13% wished it were more spacious
The air-fryer can cook 4 burgers or 2 very large ribeyes at once with enough capacity.
The air-fryer is not suitable for more than 2 people, but it can handle 2 for me and 1 for us, and batch cooking for 3 or more people.
The machine is suitable for cooking for around four people.
The air fryer easily accommodates a dinner for two.
