The pintail design is very vintage and cool and I have gotten loads of compliment on the style.

This is a cheap board for beginners who want to get around campus, and it is easy to navigate on relatively flat surfaces or gentle inclines.

The board is a touch squeaky, but it does it with both of us, so I don't think it has to do with too much weight stressing it.

It is big enough for you to stay on and the wheels run smooth, so if you have a gift card or other discount to be put to use, it is worth it.

I tried a few boards and found I liked them more and did better riding the longer ones.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

Is the bottom of the board flat or convex?

    A:

The riding surface is not completely flat which bothered me a little at first, but I go on long rides and don't have any problems with it.

    Q:

How does this handle rough terrain? Patchy sidewalks, rocks, sticks, dirt, etc.

    A:

I wouldn't take this board anywhere bumpy, even though it might work on dirt. I tried it on a paved bike trail and nearly fell over a small rock and a twig, but then again I must have been going like 2 or 3 mph.

    Q:

If I am 51 inches tall, would the 44 inch board be large for me?

    A:

It is more what you are comfortable with, even though it might be slightly large for you.

    Q:

Would this board be easy for beginners?

    A:

My 11 year old daughter got her first long board and it was the first thing she rode. It has been 7 months and she still rides it often!

    Q:

Is this a good board for my dobie to take me on a cruise?

    A:

My daughter loves this board because it's long and she can sit on it while her brother pushes her.
