I used a drill to raise and lower it, and I use a drill to lower it, just like I do for the sissor jacks on my trailer.
The jack fit perfectly and lined up with the mounting holes on the trailer, which is a big plus for me. I will be replacing the remaining three original jacks with these as time permits.
I had to replace the old one with a new one in just 10 minutes.
I just brought them with me and stowed them away when I left, it makes the trailer more stable when entering and exiting, as well as when kids are getting up to go pee at night.
I use them in the middle of my travel trailer and don't attach them to the frame.
Question & Answers
What is the width of it?
I can say that this was the exact replacement for my 32 foot fifth wheel with the exception of the top plate that bolts to the camper frame.
Is it possible to lift a truck for a tire change?
The answer to your question depends on the size of the truck, the JSC-24 has a 5,000 pound capacity with a 24" height and the JSC-30 has a 5,000 pound capacity with a 30" height.
Is it possible to change tires on a Yukon with this?
I am not sure if this would work for an RV.
Since the camper's top plate is welded onto it, it's necessary to use the existing plate top.
I will replace the factory installed replacement for the factory installed bracket that was welded to the bumper with mine, it fit perfectly.
How many jacks is it for $39.26?
There is only one jack.
