I'm confident that this lift will raise my bike securely and give me some flexibility in where I lift it when I use the screw adapters to lift by the frame.

I like to buy USA made when I can but I don't like to kill myself so I use a cheap one. lifted my full bedroom off of my bigger lift without a hiccup, slap a 22mm socket on a 1/2 inch ratchet.

Even with a scissor jack, the bike will not fall, even if it is strapped down on the lift table.

There were two nuts against each other outside of the sliding collar as a stop against the collar and then threaded the other nuts on the end of the threaded rod as an attachment point for an impact gun or drill to raise and lower the lift.

I lifted the bike on my own with little effort, as the stand was sturdy and the bike lifted cleanly.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

Is it possible to use an impact gun to raise this?

    A:

It would allow you to use your impact, but I wouldn't recommend it because of the stress on the lead screw.

    Q:

How far can the saddles be spread?

    A:

It is 14 inches to the center of each saddle.

    Q:

Is there a similar version of this jack on Amazon that has longer arms?

    A:

The little hands at the top of the arms can be adjusted. For short bikes, the black arms slide off the blue jack and make a flat lift plate.

    Q:

    What is the warranty cover?

    A:

I don't know the warranty period, but it's pretty well built and I have used it a lot for lifting motorcycles without issues.

    Q:

Will it work with the 1200?

    A:

I used my Yamaha Bolt with it and it worked well.
