I have included pictures of the packaging to show you how it is packaged. My husband sprays a few quick shots into the door, inserts the key, turns back and forth, sprays a little bit into the door and then turns the knob back.
It helped to clean locks before attempting to pick them or to read depths to cut a key, I now keep some around the house to clean and lubricate house locks, padlocks, car locks, etc., " while it may feel a little oily, it does not leave a residue
I tried spraying it into the lock but it wouldn't open and I had to wait 24 hours before I could get the key.
This will fix a lot of common issues you will find, and it doesn't take a skill or training to use.
The film begins to break down after about 3 or so months, and the process has to be repeated to fight the problem.
Question & Answers
I didn't receive one, what size straw does it take?
I don't know the exact size but it looks like the same size as on WD40, so I use my Houdini without the straw.
I have not seen a red disclaimer before 01/01/2021, so why can't this item be shipped to my home in central Florida?
It is likely that you will not be able to ship via air or have a nasty ingredient that Florida does not allow.
Does this work to get rid of grease and metal shavings?
I think Houdini would break the grease and clean it out if it was applied to lubricate the door as it slides in its track.
Would this work as an alternative to lithium grease spray for garage door track, rollers, and hinges?
It is not thick like lithium grease.
Is it possible to use it to lubricate gun safe rotary combination lock?
A locksmith told me that this spray did not cause sticky/gummy over time, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with a rotary combination lock.
