I think it's because I pushed too hard on it and it had time to cut, but on a few occasions it wasn't cutting straight.
The foot plate is powder coated and sturdy, and the blade is easy to use with Bosch t-shank blades.
It's easy to cut through my 1" pine and it's very easy to clean. Like any saw, keep good blades on it and you will find that you do a lot less post work trying to fix any tear out and chips in the wood.
The settings for the blade movement do a great job, but for me, 4 settings is too much, I either turn it off for a quality cut or put it to the maximum to go faster.
It is easy to use and has enough power to cut a variety of stock. I don't change blades all that often, but the knob to release the blade is in the most convenient location, and I am not behind the safety at the base of the blade.
