  • Question & Answers

    Q:

The tape came in a clear plastic bag and did not have 3M on it. Is it a knock off?

    A:

I don't know if it worked for sure, but I used it to seal up dryer vent joints.

    Q:

Is it possible to use this on a clothes dryer vent docking kit?

    A:

    Yes, I did that.

    Q:

I'm not sure if this tape stretches or not.

    A:

It is a good thing that it is very sticky.

    Q:

Is it possible to use this on an exhaust pipe?

    A:

I think the foil would fall off if the adhesive burned away.

    Q:

Is it safe to use this inside a grow box to cover the cables for a fan and light?

    A:

I don't see why it wouldn't be, I used it for a dryer vent and the lights get hotter than a dryer vent.
