I use 3 open-stock pastel pencils from Caran Dache instead of the 3 primary pastels sets I use for drawing, and I combine these pastel pencils with Stablio Carbothello Pencils.
After fixing the pastel that was laying down with a wet paintbrush, I was able to continue using the pastels.
I have only had the pastels for a couple of days, but I can already see an improvement in my drawings, I am just beginning my journey with pencil drawings, I can see you, I love these pencils, its my first time using pastel, I am so happy with the results so
I purchased some individual colors from the art store and found I really liked them, so I ordered the whole set.
I ordered these pencils because Colin Bradley recommended them, and they were easy to apply, blend and sharpen, and would be great for drawing with a knife or blade.
