A 6 TPI blade with a 38” blade is a good choice for a homeowner who wants to speed up the cut but still have some stability.
The skills of local hardware stores are not good enough to make a consistent, proper weld in raw blade stock.
I was amazed by the sharpness of the new blade cuts, I would recommend this product.
This is a great band saw blade and I use it on my Craftsmen, it is much better than anything they have put out recently. Highly recommended from a furniture maker who has been doing this since 1986.
The old craftsman cuts with 6tpi, but now with a 3 tip, it's much easier to cut.
