I highly recommend this vacuum for hardwood floors and low pile placement rugs.
The vacuum is lightweight and easy to use on different surfaces including large floors, carpets, stairs, and tight spaces in the car.
I use the stick vacuum every day on both hardwood and carpet.
The vacuum works well on different types of surfaces like tile floors, medium height rugs and bedroom shag rug.

I had to empty the dust bin 3 times while vacuuming the kitchen and living room, indicating good dustbin capacity.
Once the dustbin is about 1/4 full, suction is lost.

If I select high speed, the battery power gets cut in half, but it is still good.
I can vacuum the entire house on low power setting with enough battery life. However, on the highest power setting it doesn't last quite that long.
On high setting, the battery life could have been better. However, I understand that it is a trade-off between being lightweight or lasting longer.

The stick vacuum is lightweight and great for cleaning stairs with pet hair from my 2 dogs and 1 cat.
The vacuum picks up everything including cat hair.
On the default setting, the suction power is amazing and it picks up everything when turned up.
I am not able to pick up dirt or cat litter at all.
