The vacuum has done a great job of removing hair from my hardwood and rugs.
The vacuum works well on hard surfaces and low pile carpet.
On hard surfaces like wood, tile, and laminate, the vacuum works well. For thicker carpets, I need to upgrade to JR700.
The suction for carpets is below average, especially if you have pets.

Emptying the canister is easy and it comes with many filters for replacement. Cleaning the filters each time I vacuum will make them last even longer.
I did not find anything in the container to dump even after several uses.

The suction is strong, but swiping quickly over a surface won't pick up everything. Moderate, purposeful coverage does a great job.
When I kick it to high around my dog kennels, the suction power is incredible.
After a minute of suction, the vacuum stops picking up anything.
The suction power for carpets is below average, especially if you have pets.
