This item is a pack of 2 liners and they are a much better quality than the dollar store variety, so the price is good, and the area around the holes is just a little thicker than the liner itself.
The shower curtain liners I have had are bad, but these ones have no odor, and they are easy to put up, even though they don't have metal grommets at the top.
I'm not sure if it's because I ordered a clear curtain or if it's just because I'm used to getting curtains from Walmart that have more of a vinyl feel to them.
It is heavy enough to hang well and not blow in on you when showering, and protects the outer curtain well with little weights at the bottom, but it doesn't smell of plastic like the nicer ones do.
I got the two so when one plays out I don't have to put it on the list, and it held out a good while before it gave in.

I don't know what material they cut these from, but it must be significantly cheaper than magnets to justify sticking it into their curtain and pretending they are magnets.
