I was able to pick up my parents' favorite radio station which was 40 miles away from our house.
Tuning has to be exact with no band spread at station frequency, but reception and sensitivity are excellent.
The radio has great reception of FM 91.1, the local Public Radio station, which is usually hard to tune and lock.
