The headphones are not noise cancelling but they do a great job of damping ambient noises. I was surprised at how well they work at damping sounds.

I love the noise cancelling feature of these headphones as it cuts out any noise close or far away, allowing me to listen to my music peacefully.
When I wear the headphones and there's no sound from Bluetooth, they cut out 50% of ambient noise.
