I found that the medium size plate had a good grinding speed and could handle 8 pounds of partially frozen beef in about 2 minutes.
I was able to grind 5-10 lbs of meat and bone in less than half an hour with the meat grinder.
I was able to grind 3 packer cut briskets for burger meat in less than 10 minutes each using the 8mm plate. The meat-grinder did not bog down at all and the second grind or pass was equally fast.
