About Meidase P40 Trail Camera (2021), 24MP 1296P H.264 HD Video
82% were happy with the memory capacity, but 18% weren't happy
I can only see the pictures and videos if I restore the device to its original factory defaults and format the card inside the device.
82% found it weather resistant, but 18% strongly disagree
I have used this camera in different weather conditions like rainstorms and snow storms and it has worked fine.
I experienced no leaks into the housing during heavy rains.
I was able to use the camera even after it was exposed to light rain and knocked over by a coyote.
The camera is not waterproof as mentioned and will eventually get some water inside.

80% appreciated the night vision, but 20% raised concerns
I used the camera to learn the habits of a mouse by taking night time videos.
At night, the camera has an effective range of about 60-70 feet, after which the images become ghosty.
Even at the best settings using infrared, my night images are ghost-like but still visible.
82% were satisfied with the battery life but 18% weren't satisfied
I have been using two cameras for over 2 months with the same Duracell Pro batteries and have recorded 1000's of 30 sec 1080p resolution video and the batteries are still full.
After using the camera for almost 2 months and taking hundreds of pictures, my battery level on one is 3/4 and the other is 2/4 bars. The battery life is great.
One set of batteries lasted me 5 weeks and many thousands of photos.
I have to change the batteries three times a year and it's uncertain whether they will last or not. I've lost months worth of images because of dead batteries.
81% highlighted the triggger speed, but 19% raised concerns
I have experienced the trigger speed of the hi res camera and am satisfied with its shutter speed, which are real pluses.
I am not too concerned that the night images never show the actual subject that set it off.
81% were impressed by the detection range, but 19% weren't impressed
The PIR sensors on this camera are phenomenal, consistently detecting subjects over 110 feet away, surpassing the specifications of 70 feet. This allows for capturing images of wildlife at a greater distance than other name brand cameras.
The motion detection works fine and sometimes picks up small or dark animals that I can hardly see.
Sometimes I have to look closely to see what set it off, even movement inside brush will activate the camera.
I advise being cautious while placing the camera as it may not detect the motion of small animals.

78% liked the image quality, but 22% didn't like
I love the 120 degree sensors as they capture images that would be lost with other cams.
The image and video quality is great, but dependability may come up short.
The image quality is very poor and it looks like it was done in paint-by-numbers.
