I purchased a second Ranger craft sheet from Amazon because I wanted to use it for multiple small squares and because I liked the first one I bought at the local hobby store.
I am so happy that I have this craft sheet because I can use all the pretty shimmer that doesn't get on my project off the sheet with a different piece of paper.
I've been using this stamp set for a couple of months now and I have to say it is a pretty good set of tools for the price and it is very easy to use.
It was a slip of paper and I could not see any markings of a name brand. But if it works and is different than the original, I say its a win.
If you already have Tim holtz distress ink, you will find a lot of uses for it, and I would recommend getting a couple and playing around with them.
Question & Answers
Can this and a silicone baking mat be used the same way?
The silicone baking mat has some similar properties to the RANGER craft mat but it depends on what your intended purpose is for the mat to be used for.
The description says it is 1 inch thick, but in the comments it sounds like it is thinner.
The sheet is very thin and sturdy, but only about an inch. It wipes up with a baby wipe, glue doesn't stick to it, it is great.
Is the back of the slip?
The product is super thin and it seems to stay put while crafting.
Is it a real Ranger product?
It is not a RANGER product and does not come in RANGER packaging.
I used stick glue with pressure on a meander book and when I lifted the teflon mat, it came through.
No, I do messy stuff, embossing paste, inking, alcohol ink and so on.
