About HA SHI Water Soluble Oil Crayons For Artists 24 Color
Overall Feedback:
96% positive
94% liked the smooth texture, yet 6% found it too waxy
I loved the texture of the crayons. They are creamy and rich in color, adding a perfect sketchy but watercolor look to my paintings. They also provide the intensity that my work sometimes requires.
When I use it on watercolor paper, some of the texture remains even after applying water with a brush.
The crayons produce loose residue and are greasy, making it difficult for me to work with them according to my style of art.
I found that creating dark/thick colors is easier on smoother paper than highly textured paper. Pastels tend to color only on the top of the texture.
94% appreciated the blendability
Water soluble oil pastels can be overlaid for nice blends and stretched for watercolor or solid coverage.
The colors are beautiful and can be easily blended by overlaying them, making it ideal for portraits or landscapes.

After using the crayons to draw on the car window, I couldn't move it up or down even after erasing and washing the car. This caused a problem at the car dealership where the window had to be removed to be fixed.
After melting the crayons, a lot of base wax floated to the top of the molds and left a film that doesnt give any color when used on paper.
