I was able to fit the ABCCANOPY on the Sams frame by following a key step. To release the pull-ring retainers at all four corners, allowing the scissor frame to collapse a bit, then push the frame back up after fitting the corners of the canopy.
I need to tie down the corners of the canopy to stakes in the ground.
