I chose a Coway Air Mega 250s to control smoke at my sofa table. It works well in eating smoke despite not being the most modern looking device.
I found it useful that the air-purifier can be wall-mounted with the buttons and vents facing down, allowing me to mount it closer to the ceiling while giving better access to the buttons.
The air purifier easily clears the air in my garage/man cave.
I chose a larger A3 air-purifier based on the size of my home.

80% appreciated the quiet operation, but 20% were disappointed
Until speed 3 of 6, I don't notice any sound from the fan.
I use level 3 while sleeping in my room as it is not too loud. When I am cooking downstairs or away from home, I use level 5.
On auto mode, the air-purifier is very quiet, but the noise level is noticeable on higher speeds.
I noticed that the fan was making loud noise and vibrating.

I feel that A3 works better than A2 in terms of filtration efficiency of air-purifier. I am fine when I am indoors but have allergy attacks when I go outdoors.
