I found that the batteries did not leak as others indicated, but they did not last long and had to be replaced frequently.

I have used many battery brands over the years, but Duracell is the only one that has leaked. It happened in my handheld GPS and two indoor night lights, corroding the battery mounts. Recently, I found some Duracell batteries that leaked just stored in a drawer, years before their use-by date. I wouldn't risk anything valuable on them.
I have experienced leakage issues with Duracell batteries on multiple occasions, which have even destroyed my electronics. The leaks seem to happen in electronics that are not used often.
