My jack on the bottom uses only 4 of the 8 pins, resulting in bridged Ethernet speeds of less than 100mbps.
The ethernet port on the extender is positioned underneath, making it impossible to plug in another device into the wall socket.

While using TP link extender, I am getting a speed slightly over 100 mbps.
The extender can transmit data at the full speed of my internet plan as long as it is under 300Mbps at 2.4ghz.
The extender's maximum transmission speed is only 433 Mbps for the 5 Ghz band, which is a fraction of my fios router's 1300 Mbps.

The TP AC750 can cover a range of about 310sq feet for two rooms with walls with low signals.
I had to try multiple ranges to connect the extender and finally located it about 50 feet from the existing WiFi for it to connect at all.
