About TP-Link AC1900 WiFi Extender (RE550)
80% found the dual band capability helpful, but 20% faced issues
I created two network names for 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands since I have a dual band router.
I manually configured the extender to broadcast only the 2.4GHz band and use the 5GHz band for backhaul to the main access point.
I was able to get a 5GHz signal at the TV and stream on Google Chromecast with the extender.
The setup automatically linked with both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz broadcast Freqs.

78% were satisfied with the ethernet ports
I have experienced a stable and fast connection via ethernet cable when connecting my laptop to the extender.
75% appreciated the security features
I assigned and hid a unique SSID just for this extender, which is a built-in security measure to protect the extended network from unauthorized access.
90% found it easy to set up, however 10% encountered difficulties
I had no trouble setting up the unit multiple times on multiple routers using the app, if one factory resets the Extender first on each setup.
Setting up the TP-Link extender was super easy and I was done in about 10 minutes. There is an option to change the name of the extended network(s) during setup, which is a great feature that allows me to see exactly how much my overall network is improved by adding this new device.
The setup process was very easy and I had it installed and working within minutes.
I was able to set it up and get it running in about 5 minutes, it was super easy.

89% liked the data transfer speed, although 11% desired faster connectivity
When connected via laptop, the extender's data transfer speed is 250Mbps and 300Mbps when connected via ethernet cable.
My data transfer speed has increased from 50 mbps to 170+. My devices now connect to the same wifi setup with a faster speed and stronger signal.
I tested the network speed for internet using TP-Link's 'One Mesh' system and it was around 335Mbps down.
The data transfer speed of TP-Link AC1900 is 50-60 mbps for 2.4ghz and 100-120 mbps for 5ghz.

88% appreciated the coverage range, although, 12% found dead zones
The wifi extender extended the coverage to gazebo, firepit and entire yard.
The extender has a good coverage range as the signal strength increased from medium to full coverage of my home, including the basement.
After installing the extender in a room with limited signal strength, my signal improved. However, the next room still had poor and inconsistent signal strength, and I lost the signal if I moved to the far side of the room.
