I am able to maintain high speeds of 110+Mps on 5Ghz channel and ~80Mps on 2.4Ghz with good signal strength for my IoT devices.
I have been using the extender for a month and getting the same speed as the router. The speed is about 30 MBits/sec at 2.4 GHz, and about 80 MBits/sec at 5.0 GHz.
When I switched to 2.4 GHz connection, my down speed jumped back to 100 Mbps.
I am happy with the performance of the range extender and its speed of 60 Mbps.

The range extender provides good coverage to our house reliably when it is under 20 feet.
The extender captures the signal well even though it is 30 ft away from the router.
The product description says coverage up to 2000 sqft, but the box says 12000 sqft.

I have perfect coverage on both the 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz bands throughout three floors of the house with the TP-Link extender, which is sensitive enough to pick up even the 5GHz band a.c. network perfectly when located at the opposite end of the house.
I easily connected the Wi-Fi extender to both bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, using WPS.
