The speed from the extender is slightly slower than the router due to relaying of data back and forth.
I connected to Netgear and got a maximum speed of 110 to 120 Mbps from various speed test results.
I am getting 70-80 Mbps at connected clients which is sufficient for my needs.
The extender doesn't even come close to 75% of the speed of a direct connection to the router.

I am using the 5Gz connection via the ethernet port and it is working great.
I will always consider TP-Link in the future because their mesh systems have ethernet ports on the back of their mesh points, so I wouldn't even need the extender.
An additional ethernet port is available for connecting wired devices.
I don't see the point of using the unit as an access point since it only has a 100 Mb port.

The security level of our wi-fi extender is low and outdated. After researching the issue, I found out that it runs a WPA2-TKIP, which is an old and outdated form of network security compared to WPA2-AES.

Setting up was easy and intuitive. I followed the instructions step-by-step and was up and running in about 15-20 minutes.
The setup process was incredibly simple and it took me only 3 minutes to set up the extender. A WPS button is required for the setup.

I was able to connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands as my router supported it.
I can extend both the 2GHz and 5GHz frequencies with the extender if my modem has the option.
I can now use both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with 100% signal strength, indicating an improvement in the Dual-Band Capability of the extender.
If there is a connection difficulty on 5G, trying on 2G has almost always resolved any issues with speed or connection strength.

The coverage is good, but not as much as described in the product description. I have a 1300 sq. ft. apartment and the extender sends signals to almost every corner, although the strength varies.
The extender works perfectly to provide coverage in a specific area.
The wifi extender adds another 1000 square feet of wifi coverage.
