I can reach the desired speed without any problem.
I run at 6.5 speed for a couple of miles and it's a great quick workout.
I'm not sure if the speed is accurate or not. I've used gym treadmills before and this one seems to be a bit slower than what the speed is reflecting on the screen.
With the bar lowered, my treadmill speed is limited to 4 mph.
