About NordicTrack T Series Treadmills
Overall Feedback:
82% positive
82% found it easy to connect, although 18% faced challenges
I can easily listen to my devices through the treadmill speaker using the adapter.
Logging in and out is pretty seamless with just a couple of touches.
To get around the iFit program, I need to press and hold the iFit Bluetooth symbol next to the phone and iPad symbol. It's not an actual button to press but that's what needs to be touched.
I faced an issue with the iFit connection and found the instructions unclear. I had to go through the instructions to find out that I never needed to make an iFit account.
74% liked the different incline levels, but 26% didn't
The incline is gradual and it takes 30-35 seconds to go from 0-10%.
I calibrated the incline as per instructions and it worked out fine.
The incline range is ideal for me, but may not be enough for endurance runners and advanced users.
The treadmill has 10 levels of incline that increment from flat to 10.0 at 0.1 increments.
The incline and speed both max out at 10 and there is no decline.
When I increased the incline, it went up to level 10 and stayed there.
72% liked the speed levels, but 28% found them insufficient
During my first couple of months, I manually shifted between different speed levels on the treadmill, including the specific levels I used.
The treadmill has 10-speed levels and 10 levels of incline that increment from flat to 10.0 at 0.1 increments.
I have used the treadmill up to 6.5mph and find the speed range of 1-10 miles to be pretty good for a long time.
The treadmill has a huge flaw as I cannot reduce the speed beyond .5. I need .2 or .3 to work up to .5.
73% liked the folding mechanism, yet 27% found it cumbersome
The treadmill can be folded, but it weighs over 200 lbs, so it's not a fold away.
When folding the treadmill, it requires two hands as it is heavy and folds at an angle. The machine will take over halfway and descend slowly when opening, so there is no need to fear dropping it or bending.
The folding mechanism is not good as it only folds to about 60 degrees and not straight up 90 degrees to get out of the way.
73% found the belt slip-proof
On the treadmill, I noticed that the cardboard does not slip or slide.
80% highlighted the weight capacity, but 20% were concerned
I chose this mode because it was reasonably priced and has a weight limit of 200+lbs.
For people up to 200 lbs and 5'11", the machine is suitable. Beyond that, a larger and heavier machine might be needed.
I estimate that the base of the treadmill weighs at least 200 pounds, giving the impression of a solid piece of equipment.
I am a heavy runner and well under the max weight capacity. The belt has a brief but noticeable pause on occasion, which alters my running gait pattern and puts me at risk of a knee injury.
67% were satisfied with the plate size, although 33% felt it was too small
The width of the treadmill is greater than a standard doorway.
I suggest widening the platform on each side of the treadmill by a couple of inches for comfortable foot placement.
The handrails are a bit short and the front plate should be further up for standing close to the console without tripping.
67% found the belt length appropriate, however 33% experienced fitting issues
The belt size is comfortable with plenty of room, but I'm short so please consider that.
The treadmill belt is wide/long enough for me to walk comfortably at a brisk pace, even though I am 6'8".
The belt length is closer to 19 7/8” and I expect the actual measurement to be listed.
I noticed that the treadmill runs at 7 mph when the speed is set at 6 mph. This is because of the unseen portion of the belt which is assumed to be 10% more. So, the treadmill is running 16% faster than the shown speed.
The treadmill runs 16% faster than the shown speed due to the unseen portion of the belt, which is assumed to be 10% more.
