When I compare the sound quality of LG sound bar with my 6 year old Samsung sound bar it doesn't sound as good as Samsung.

I mounted the soundbar below my TV and used a 2x2 to create some distance between the bar and the front of the TV. I made sure that the soundbar isn't covered by the TV so that it can benefit from the incredible spatial sound, bouncing off the ceiling, and all the Dolby features.
I bought this sound-bar specifically because it supports both e-ARC for my future TV, and SPDIF/TOSLINK optical for my current 10+ year old TV.

Subwoofer provides the much-needed bass and it connects automatically without any problems.
Soundbar delivers clear vocals for movies and good decent bass for songs with wireless sub woofer. It's remarkable how well it performs in a 100ft hall and even in rented houses.
Subwoofer lacks bass even at its highest level. Bass while streaming music is adequate but for TV viewing it does fall short.

Sound bar has connectivity issues from the beginning. Even when the subwoofer was 15 feet away from the soundbar with a line of sight to the sound bar, it still struggled to stay connected to it.
