About Nakamichi sound bar Shockwafe Ultra 9.2.4 Channel Dolby Atmos sound bar/DTS:X sound bar with subwoofer
70% were impressed with the design, nevertheless, 30% weren't
The sound bar is the Rolls-Royce of sound bars.
The sound-bar is easy to use with a great remote and the sound makes me smile.
There is a lack of space between optical and coaxial inputs, making it too tight to install both comfortably.
The soundbar lacks HDMI-video based interface and only has an alpha-numeric segmented LCD display. I compared it with my 20 year old Onkyo which had UI displayed through the video ports.
62% found it easy to connect with smart assistants, although 38% faced issues
I found it difficult to integrate the soundbar into my home automation system due to the lack of control interfaces. I thought there would be a control interface exposed through Bluetooth capability, but there wasn't.
84% highlighted the subwoofer performance, but 16% found it lacking
Wireless subwoofers are a blessing as they don't have wires going all the way to the back of the room.
The rear surround speakers perform okay, but they don't offer a significant contrast to the loud center soundbar.
I faced sputtering and signal loss to the subwoofer when I got a TV with eARC to support Atmos.
I am disappointed with the subwoofer's performance. It fails to deliver the expected sound output and struggles to produce a deep, warm, and impactful bass. Particularly on low-frequency sounds, the subwoofer tends to sound muffled and lacks the desired rumble.

78% appreciated the audio modes, however 22% found them redundant
The remote has various DSP modes for different types of media to play.
If I connect the soundbar directly to the TV, there is a 2-second missing audio at the start of every playback. However, if I connect it directly to the soundbar, there is no missing 2-second audio.
Every time I pick a new movie, it goes into a watered down default mode with hardly any volume, surround sound, or noticeable effects.
94% liked the sound quality, yet 6% expressed dissatisfaction
The sound-bar has better sound quality than other brands like Samsung, JBL etc. It takes my movies to a new level of theater quality sound at home.
I was looking for an affordable sound system with theater quality sound and this sound-bar exceeded my expectations by a long shot. It is even better than the movie theater.
The sound quality is impressive and surpasses more expensive brands like Onkyo and Bose. Atmos surround and 1200w fill the room with rich vibrant sound.
After turning the volume past level 26, the sound became muddy.
