I have mostly hardwood with a few rugs and carpet landing at the top of my stairs.
I find the vacuum versatile and effective in picking up cat hair, cat litter, crumbs, and other dusty things on the floor, making it perfect for light cleaning.
I have no doubt that the vacuum will perform fantastic on hardwood floors, as it performs well on the carpet.

With the suction turned up to the highest level, I can see that the robotic-vacuum picks up a lot of dirt, debris and pet hair from various surfaces.
There isn't much difference in suction power between low and high settings and I doubt it would work well on carpet.
