I saw a lot of positive reviews on this and watched a lot of videos about it, but when I finally bought one of my own, I was so disappointed that I thought mine was broken, that I thought it was sponsored by o-light.
The green laser is covered in soot after being fired for 20 or so rounds, but it's not the reason it's covered so quickly.
It is small enough to leave on full time and has a light clamp onto the piccatinny rail so you don't have to bring it with you.
I've seen other lights that make the gun look ugly, it's small, and many people make holsters for popular guns with this light on it.
I'm not sure what the word "special" means, but I think the person who came up with the idea to change the charging system for all of their lights was an excellent person.
Question & Answers
Is it possible to send it in for a replacement after one charge cycle, or is it just a throw away?
Li-ion batteries should be good for 1000 charge cycles, and they really hold the charge when stored.
Will it attach to a sig p320 m17?
I just searched under images for " olight for sig p320 m17" and it seems they do.
Does this fit a P365?
It will fit if you have a rail adapter attached.
Can this be mounted to the side rail of an AR15, or just the top and bottom of the rail?
It can be mounted on any picatinny rail, but is specifically designed to be mounted on a pistol due to the location of the activation switches.
I'm interested in the one with the button on the Trigger Guard, that was one of the two models I saw.
I think you are talking about another product.
