About Canon EOS Rebel SL2 DSLR Camera
88% liked the image quality, yet 12% believed it could be sharper
I love the Canon color science and the detail.
The photo quality is very good even with the kit lens.
The picture quality is not the best.
Considering the price of the camera, the picture quality was not up to the mark.
82% found the camera heavy
I can mention that the camera weighs 2.15 lbs with the Speedlight and 18-135mm lens attached.
89% highlighted the image stabilization, however 11% found it insufficient
I have image stabilization on my camera and when used with a good motion gimbal, it makes the shots smoother.
Faster shutter speed can lead to much sharper pictures.
When buying lenses, it's important to get the IS version if stabilization is important while on the go. The camera doesn't have on board image stabilization and will rely on the lenses.
I recommend pairing the camera with a lens that has image stabilization and quiet focus as the camera lacks image stabilization and it is noticeable.

89% found it quick to focus, yet 11% experienced delays
In day-to-day use, the autofocus points on my Canon SL2 worked well despite not being the most impressive number out there.
I can focus on a specific spot by touching the screen with the camera's touch focus feature.
The Dual Pixel Autofocus system in the SL2 is the best autofocus system for video in any camera on the market. It has trickled down from the 70D and 80D.
I have praised the autofocus feature with dual pixels, which always focuses on me with two focus points even while I am walking and talking to the viewers. This feature is usually expected in higher price bracket cameras.
