What users have to say about UGREEN SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter Cable for 3.5 2.5 Inch SSD HDD SATA III Hard Drive Disk Converter Support

I used it on both the 3.5 inch drive and the 2.5 inch drive, and it had a blue power light that illuminates when you have a drive plugged in.

It's much more affordable than connecting an old internal hard drive that has been removed from a computer to a computer without the computer having to be re-booted.
It has been fully compatible with both Windows PC and Linux, without additional drivers needed, for connecting my external 2.5" SATA HDD and SSD's.
Is the adapter compatible with 220/230v or only 110v?
Thank you so much for your inquiry, I'll get back to you soon.
Will this device recognize the drive's sCrypt as it is sCrypt with wave and winmagic?
You will not be able to circumvent the drive encryption, even though it will be recognized.
Will it work with a 5volt toshiba HDD?
If your hard drive is a type of SATA, this sata to usb 3.0 adapter can work for it.
I cannot connect this to a 3.5” HDD because it doesn't spin. Do I use the top row of pins or the bottom?
I'm not sure what you mean about the top or bottom row of pins. My drive has two sets of pins in a row, one set has 7 and the other 15 if I counted correctly.
Is it possible to connect it to a removed hard drive from an acer computer?
If your laptop has a special connector for the drive, you just need to remove it from it before attaching it to the adapter.
