The toaster oven cleans pretty well as the interior and bottom floor tray are removable.
Any droppings result in burns on the interior surfaces and the glass front that are impossible to clean, including small metal bars that now smoke when I use the oven.
Cleaning the heat shields is not easy and there is no way to remove them without pulling the oven apart.
I find the toaster difficult to clean. The metal pieces protecting the heating element do not come out, and reaching in to clean off drips is difficult. It's important to keep up on cleaning the glass door before stuff bakes on it.
