About BLACK+DECKER TO3250XSB
Overall Feedback:
73% positive
76% highlighed the timer and controls ; however, 24% weren't satisfied
The controls are confusing and it doesn't perform as a convection oven.
The timer/stay on knob is troublesome as it is stiff and hard to turn left. It is not advised to turn left if you overshoot the time.
75% found maintance easy, yet 25% struggled
The bars/Rods are a little hard to clean.
The second knob is troublesome and hard to turn left to stay on mode. If the timer is over shot, it's very hard to turn left, making cleaning and maintenance of the toaster-oven difficult.
82% were satisfied with the toasting performance, but 18% believed it could be better
I get perfectly medium toasted bread with the accurate toast dial.
The toaster feature is not good for toast and frozen waffles, but other than that, it's a great product.
I found that the toasting of bread and some broiling was uneven.
The toaster oven is very slow to heat up and can only reach a maximum temperature of 350F, even when the dial is set to 450F. It is unusable for most of my cooking needs.
81% appreciated the heating elements, although 19% found flaws
The heating elements turn on and off, causing temperature fluctuation.
After a month, the oven functions completely went out.
75% liked the temperature control, yet 25% faced difficulties
The thermostat is burning everything and not working properly.
The temperature control is not consistent or accurate.
I needed temperature probes to determine how far to turn the knob for drying filament because my first attempt warped one of my plastic filament spools (the temp was a touch too high). Additionally, the heating elements are not constantly powered (they turn on and off) so the temperature fluctuates within a range. The temperature control is not labelled below 120C, which is a negative feature.
When the thermostat kicks off, the temperature inside my toaster-oven reaches 285F at its highest.
