I took the suitcase to Europe and put it to the test by constantly checking the bag, carrying it on to airplanes and trains and it had no issues. I'm not sure about the durability over time but as of right now the bag is holding up wonderfully.
Use the zipper gently as it's not industrial strength and avoid overstuffing the suitcase. If it's tight, reorganize so that it doesn't bulge.
