I love the speed control feature of the mixer, along with its blades, ease of use, cleaning, and the ability to attach other devices.
My hand mixer's low speed is faster than the kitchen aid's medium speed and sends cocoa, flour, and confectioners sugar flying.
If I push the speed setting too high, the flour will be all over the kitchen and I will have to mop up.
Sometimes the mixer won't turn on regardless of the speed setting used. It also shuts off during use and requires moving the speed setting back and forth to restart.
