About PHEANOO 2.1 CH roku soundbar
87% liked the sound quality
The clarity of the treble sounds and the bass is also adjustable from the remote and has just the right amount of bass. The sound travels well across the room. \
Soundbar produces crisp and clear sound with added depth, and the bass from the wired sub is just enough to fill the room.
90% appreciated the audio modes, however 10% found them redundant
I use this soundbar daily for videos, movies, and especially gaming and he loves the sound quality.
In my opinion, the 3D effect mode is the most effective. It genuinely creates a sense of a wide sound stage, making movies and music fill the room and adding a feeling of spaciousness.
I noticed the issue of constant sound dropping, especially while playing Yoshi’s Island for the SNES. The stage select theme sounded terrible with the soundbar, and it was quite disappointing
When I use this soundbar, the Nintendo Switch's Home Screen sound effects completely cut out, and I never hear them at all, which is annoying.
87% were impressed with the design, nevertheless, 13% weren't
I am impressed with the sound quality and the ease of connecting and wall-mounting the sound-bar. The package comes with all the necessary cables and a paper cut-out to make wall-mounting easy.
The manufacturer should redesign the mounting bracket as it is hard to fasten on the wall and the directions are not helpful.
87% highlighted the subwoofer performance
I find that wired subwoofers are better than the wireless ones that are currently popular. Wireless subwoofers introduce their own problems, such as interference with wireless TV receivers like U-Verse and frequent cutouts or lost connections.
The user has mentioned that the bass quality is good and he thinks that more companies should consider subwoofers of this size.
82% found it easy to connect with smart assistants, although 18% faced issues
I tried to pair my Alexa with the soundbar, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. So, I ended up connecting it using an AUX cable and configured the remote in INPUT mode.
84% praised the connectivity range, yet 16% faced signal drop-offs
The subwoofer of this soundbar is connected by cable and needs to be within a few feet of the soundbar to work. This is different from my previous experiences with other soundbars, where the subwoofers were connected via Bluetooth and could be placed anywhere in the room.
