I have found the sound quality to be good, but the Bluetooth connection is inconvenient and unreliable.
91% appreciated the audio modes, however 9% found them redundant
EQ setting 'game' was the most flat and 'movie' was a bit punchier for regular entertainment TV.
I've personally tried out the soundbar and experimented with both the "movie" and "music" settings. From my experience, I'd recommend switching settings based on usage – the "music" setting is fantastic for enjoying music, while the "movie" setting significantly enhances the TV audio experience
I've found that the movie mode works best for all kinds of programs, offering a balanced and optimal sound quality. However, when using the News/Game mode, I noticed a slightly tinny sound and a significant reduction in bass. Surprisingly, when watching sports, the Movie mode still outperforms others. Yet, if the crowd noise during a game broadcast becomes bothersome, switching to Music mode effectively cancels out a lot of the background noise.
When I clicked on night mode, I had a bad experience as the volume instantly surged from level 8 to level 15.
86% were impressed with the design
The mounting kit provides ample space between the wall and the soundbar for the wires.
86% highlighted the subwoofer performance, but 14% found it lacking
loved the added bass of the built-in sub-woofer and the sound quality is great with good highs, speaking and music.
Bass doesn't reach 50Hz, the highs don't reach 15,000Hz, and loudness isn't 120+ db, much less the claimed 128db.
Bass is not great even though it is a 2.1 sound bar and the .1 is supposed to be a subwoofer.
89% praised connectivity range
The soundbar offers multiple connection options that are incredibly straightforward to set up. I personally tried both the ARC and AUX connections, and they worked flawlessly, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
Bluetooth pairing worked fine with MacOS Catalina on a pre-Retina 2012 MBP and it worked with a very short delay.
I've noticed that the crystal clear sounds often become muffled and merge together, especially during action-packed scenes or when multiple people are talking. It becomes challenging to distinguish between sounds and words, and in complex scenes, I find myself having to rewind to catch missed dialogue or just accepting that some parts are indistinguishable.
Sound quality of the speaker was initially good, but then the crackling sound started to appear, which eventually became unbearable.
