About Sony dolby atmos soundbar HT-G700: 3.1 channel/DTS:X
74% appreciated the audio modes, however 26% found them redundant
There is a 'Voice' mode on the remote to enhance dialog during a movie.
I love the BT option and night mode feature that allows me to hear the voice channel clearly when my wife goes to bed before me.
I have tried different audio modes and settled on DOLBY SPEAKER VIRTUALIZER for good dialogue and immersive movie sounds.
The sound settings on the sound bar have noticeable differences.
68% were impressed with the design, nevertheless, 32% weren't
The sound-bar is high-quality and well-built.
I find the LED readout on the front of the G700 bar necessary and am accustomed to it.
The soundbar doesn't have upward firing speakers for atmos effects, but the software mimicks it quite nicely to my ears.
Using the setup menu feels like using MS-DOS, which suggests that sound-bar design is not user-friendly.

71% highlighted the subwoofer performance, but 29% found it lacking
I am using the soundbar with 4K Apple TV and 4K Sony TV and the connectivity is great.
The sound bar with wireless sub sounds great.
I find that the soundbar has too much treble and the subwoofer is not loud enough.
The subwoofer stopped connecting to my sound bar despite no changes to my system or entertainment center. I tried troubleshooting by reading the manual and watching SONY videos, but nothing worked.

80% found it easy to connect with smart assistants, although 20% faced issues
There is no Alexa support.
71% liked the sound quality, yet 29% expressed dissatisfaction
The sound quality is excellent and it easily integrates with a Sony Bravia TV.
The audio quality of the soundbar is excellent with crisp sound and decent bass. For strictly music, bookshelf style speakers would be better, but it is good for a TV setup.
The sound quality of this sound-bar is very good and the remote is easily navigable.
The sound quality is really nice and crisp. The center channel makes a huge difference compared to a 2.1 system and the wireless bass unit fills a 25x19 room nicely.
