I recommend purchasing a Samsung Sound Bar as the built-in speakers are not good enough. The Samsung Sound Bar is easy to connect and sounds great with the TV.
The sound quality is adequate for normal TV shows, but I had to select the 'boost audio' option in the sound menu to amplify the volume.
The built-in speakers are passable until a soundbar is added.
