I recommend rechecking the math before installation and doing a temp install to validate the homework with actual field conditions. For the temp install, I attached the external antenna to a broomstick and the broomstick to an extension ladder that could be moved around, raised, lowered, and adjusted to get the best signal possible.
After installation, I got at least a 50% boost in indoor cell signal.
Installing it was a bit tricky as cables had to be run through walls.
Installation was easy for me as I had pre-wired my house for projects like this, so cables were already in place.
