When I first started using the unit, it was a little loud. However, I got used to it and now it's just background noise.
The sound level of this air conditioner is normal for a window unit, not too loud but not too quiet.
When I use the AC on low fan and low cool, it makes a metallic clatter and sounds like the fan is hitting something.
The air conditioner makes a loud and annoying humming noise that comes back within 30 minutes to an hour. It's so loud that I can't bear being in the same room with it.
