The vacuum does a good job of cleaning under furniture and around obstacles on hardwood floors.
The vacuum works fantastic on hardwood floors and carpeted rooms.
I can easily move the vacuum onto elevated surfaces and it can traverse any floor type.
The vacuum works great at picking up debris and dirt on hardwood floors and linoleum in the kitchen.

Even at max power, our robotic vacuum is quieter than a regular upright vacuum.
The vacuum is not loud while working unless I am right next to it.
I have tested this vacuum and found that it is not the quietest, but still not distracting. You can easily watch television or carry on a conversation in the same room with it.

The dustbin needs to be emptied once a month, depending on the amount of dust and debris I vacuum daily.
The dustbin size of ION and IQ is reasonable and can complete the entire house run without stopping to be emptied.
The onboard bin needs to be emptied after each cleaning, especially if you have pets. The instructions say it needs to be emptied at least once a month, but it depends on usage and dirt or pet hair picked up.
Due to dog hair, I have to empty IQ XL 3-4 times every cleaning.
