I found the installation of the InSinkErator F-1000S to be easy with comprehensive instructions and included fittings and tubing. The system is DIY-friendly and does not require extensive plumbing knowledge.
I found it easy to install the filter, taking me about 30 minutes or less after resolving some compatibility issues.
The plumber advised me to watch the connections as they sometimes don't seat perfectly. There is a T connector where a plastic tube slides in and I had to make sure it clicks in or I would get a slow drip. I used a thin rubber grip around the tube and was able to hear a click as I pushed it in further.
