I found the installation of the filter easy, with one bracket and two adapter nipples for the inlet and outlet.
I found the installation process simple and easy to understand, even with little knowledge of plumbing.
I found the installation process of the filter to be straightforward, although I did need to make a couple of trips to Lowes to get additional plumbing parts.

The TDS level is under 18 PPM now and the drinking water and ice cubes are crystal clear. I have been using the filter for a month or so and can see it turning brown in places, so I know it works. There are no smells and the dishes are cleaner.
