About AmazonBasics 3-Ring Binder with Zipper
Overall Feedback:
83% positive
80% liked the ample storage capacity
I can easily fit over 100 pages in the binder without the pages reaching the bend in the rings.
65% appreciated the ring mechanism, but 35% found it difficult to open
The binder has a solid 3D ring mechanism to store pages safely and a zip feature to prevent cards from getting dusty.
With just one re-arranging of the contents, the rings started misaligning.
The ring mechanism requires quite a bit of force to open, which may not be suitable for someone with arthritis or dexterity problems.
76% appreciated the portability, but 24% found it heavy when full
I am happy with the portability of the binder as I can transport it with me for further research or to go through with family.
The portfolio-case-ring-binder allows me to keep two projects on track and take them with me to meetings.
I love that the portfolio-case-ring-binder is easily portable with shoulder and hand carry ability.
When carrying the binder, the dividers hang upside down and cause things to fall out.
74% praised the high-quality materials, whereas 26% didn't
The portfolio-case-ring-binder is made of stiff plastic covered in black nylon fabric.
75% praised the overall durability, but 25% found it wore out
The durability of the portfolio-case-ring-binders is good enough to bring to shop class without worrying about papers catching fire while grinding or welding.
The portfolio-case-ring-binder tore out at the bottom within two months.
Within a week of using the product, the rings warped and refused to stay together.
73% liked the multiple compartments, but 27% didn't
On the left/front side of the portfolio, there are 4 built-in plastic file tabs for loose papers/documents and a zippered pouch for pens/pencils/etc.
The portfolio-case-ring-binder has a harmonica-type document compartment with six pockets and colorful permanent dividers, allowing me to carry loose documents in an organized manner.
The dividers do not fully separate the compartment, causing smaller items to settle at the bottom.
69% praised the secure closure, whereas 31% found it inconvenient
The binder zips closed entirely, ensuring nothing gets lost or falls out during transit.
One end of the portfolio-case-ring-binders has extra fabric to allow it to zip closed, but the other end doesn't zip closed and the zipper doesn't come to an end. This causes the zipper to be under constant tension and is unlikely to stay zipped for long.
I bought the product as a storage solution for my growing collection of Pokmon cards, but found that the card pages I bought won't fit in the binder well enough for it to zip up.
The closure type of the portfolio-case-ring-binder is great because it allows me to access the dividers without unzipping the whole binder.
