About PurelySound E7 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
83% were satisfied with the noise cancellation, although 17% felt it could be better
In the earlier model of the headphones, the power switch was a slider with 3 positions, but in this model, it just has a button. I can turn on and off with a long hold, and activate or deactivate the noise canceling with a short press.
I am not satisfied with the noise isolation/cancellation feature of these headphones. The over-ear design does not block as much ambient noise as I would prefer.
81% admired the microphone quality, nevertheless, 19% encountered glitches
My biggest problem with these headphones is the microphones. During test calls, my voice kept dropping out and when it was coming through, it was not clear or sharp.
81% liked the sound quality
The sound quality is good with deep and punchy bass, clear mids, and tight highs without being piercing. Overall, it has good clarity and range.
84% appreciated the comfort and fit, however 16% found the fit different
I find the headphones to be smaller than I prefer, and I have a larger head but normal sized ears. The earcups need to be extended further and have more clamping force to my head. Wearing glasses with them becomes uncomfortable after a while. I have been storing them on a box to try and stretch out the headband to ease the pressure.
After wearing for more than an hour, the headphones feel heavy on my head.
82% highlighted the portability, although 18% found it cumbersome
I find the headphones uncomfortable after a while with glasses on as they are smaller than I would prefer. To ease the pressure, I have been storing them on a box to stretch out the headband.
83% found it easy to connect
The headphones connected to my laptop's bluetooth really fast and easy.
The Bluetooth connection is very good. I have gone in and out of other rooms approximately 40 feet without losing or interrupting the connection.
Pairing the headphones to devices is easy and the connection is stable. I have experienced no dropouts within the specified range.
75% found the battery long-lasting, however 25% experienced drains
These headphones have perfect battery life and last longer than my other headphones.
The battery life of these headphones is good. I have worn them for several short stints of an hour or two without needing to charge.
I tried to use the headphones, but they did not turn on. I charged them thinking the battery had died, but they still did not work.
In the earlier model of the headphones, the power switch was a slider with 3 positions, but in this model, it just has a button. I can turn on and off with a long hold, and activate or deactivate the noise canceling with a short press.
I can use these headphones for multiple hours a day, toggling between using the noise cancellation and listening without, and can go multiple days without a charge.
I received headphones that come with a custom foam-fitted box, a black drawstring travel bag, a charging cable, and an aux cord. They are easy to carry or pack and can also function as wired headphones.
