About Kingslim D2 2.5K Dual Dash Cam, 1440P&1080P Front and Rear Camera for Cars
71% liked the field of view
The video quality is pretty good and clear. Although, I faced difficulty in making out license-plates at times, but I can say from experience that the quality is at least as good as the cameras used by some toll roads specifically for the purpose of reading plates.
The rear camera has a much wider view compared to the old one.
I have noticed that the camera has a wide angle and captures a lot of the road. Although, objects in the center of the screen appear further away, they magnify as they get closer. It's a good trade-off to capture a lot of the road.
77% found the wireless connectivity helpful but 23% disagree
I have found that the camera has some great features, such as configurable options for video and audio quality and the ability to not record audio. Based on my experience, I find these features useful.
The dashcam does not have an app to pull footage, which can be a hindrance. It is better to pull the SD card and its footage instead of relying on an app.
70% appreciated the night vision
I compared the rear camera with the old one and found that it has a wider view and excellent picture quality of 1080p. It can even capture license plates if needed.
The camera has a solid night-vision mode. For instance, in a rural forested area on a particularly dark night, with high-beam lights reflecting off of signs.
The camera has impressive night vision, although not as good as day time.
71% liked the image quality
I have a new dash cam with a better screen and picture quality than my old one. The rear camera has a wider view and better picture quality, making it easier to read license plates if necessary. The picture is brighter, more detailed, and smoother.
The camera captures every minute detail from license plates to distant signs.
The video quality is pretty good and clear. Although, I have faced difficulty in making out license-plates at times, but I can say from experience that the quality is at least as good as the cameras used by some toll roads specifically for the purpose of reading plates.
